Ein besonderer japanischer Grüntee, der ausschließlich aus den Blattstängeln und Zweigen besteht. Der Aufguss ergibt eine hellen, matt-ockergelbe Tasse und überzeugt durch einen milden, leicht süßlichen Geschmack mit feinen nussigen Noten sanften Umami-Akzenten. Aufgrund des sehr geringen Koffeingehalts ist Kukicha besonders gut verträglich und eignet sich hervorragend als entspannender Abendtee und koffeinempfindliche Menschen. Gleichzeitig enthält er reichlich Antioxidantien, Mineralstoffe wie Kalzium, Kalium und Magnesium sowie das entspannende L-Theanin.
